Make your dreams a reality.

"Every hour you are not going after your passion, making your dreams a reality or defining your purpose is an hour you can't get back. Is what you're doing right now, this day, this moment getting you closer to where you want to be? If not, readjust your focus. It's your future. Go get it!" -  Elizabeth Bourgeret

A dream board is an amazing way to visualize your dreams and wishes. So here comes my 3 step guide on how to create a wonderful board of possibilities:

1. Prepare

Decide the purpose of your dream board. Generally, a dream board is filled with images of who you want to be, or what you envision in your future. This can include where you want to live, what kind of house you want to have, how you want to improve your physique, or where you want to go on vacation. It could also just be a moodboard for a specific purpose. I will show you my mood board for a photoshoot I am planning to do. It really helps to see all your ideas and wishes printed out in one place.
Before we get started thinking about our dreams and wishes though, we need a base for our dreams. This could be just a big piece of paper, or a pin board or you could be really fancy like me and go for a surfboard shaped magnetic board. I got mine from Seawilde (Click HERE to check it out - this has to be marked as an unpaid advertisement) It is ethically made, super cute and makes your dream board a cute decor piece for your bedroom. Another big plus is that you can move your pictures around and switch it up according to your current situation.

2. Collect

Collect images, that inspire you. The easiest way to do that is by browsing old magazines. If something appeals to you, rip it out and place it onto your dream-pile. You could also go on pinterest, instagram or tumblr to find images, that you love. Print them out and save them on your pile. If you get inspired by certain poems,  quotes or words - just write them down and add them to the pile as well.

3. Create

Now comes the fun part. You get to look through everything that inspires you and pick out the best images and writings. Play around with the arrangements. Certain pictures might look different, if they are placed directly next to each other. Take your time and really focus on what is important to you right now. Once your done, place your board somewhere nicely visible in your home. You should be able to see it every single day without a problem. Now every time you look at the board, you will think about the dreams and passions lingering inside you and make you want to work hard to achieve them.

Hope you have fun making them,
Hannah
