The difference she makes.

All about Nespressos shortfilm contest and women who make a difference.

As you know I am all about girl power. "I feel like girls are told that they have to be a princess and fragile. It's bullshit. I identify much more with being a warrior - a fighter. If I was going to be a princess, I'd be a warrior princess definitely." (Emma Watson)
I completely agree with her on that. We all have that wonderwoman inside of us and just need to learn how to embrace her.
I teamed up with Nespresso* to share exactly this message and to spread the word about their annual "Nespresso Talents- Film Contest 2018".  Literally anyone can take part in the contest by just filming a short clip in portrait mode (9:16) about a strong inspiring woman. Just capture "The difference she makes" in a personal creative movie and send it in via the Nespresso Website until the 25th of March. The 3 best clips will be presented to the public on www.nespresso.com/talents, will get financial support (a little cash always useful, right?), as well as an exclusive invitation to the international film festival in Cannes. Check HERE for more info. You don't need to be a professional film maker to take part. Just use your phone and create something beautiful.
I have personally always dreamed of attending this festival one day. I love their concept and will definitely take part myself.
But what has Nespresso to do with all of this? Nespresso is all about supporting women in a sustainable way. Female coffee farmers are getting special education on how to work more productive, how to develope special skills to improve their coffee quality along with an eco friendly and sustainable work ethic. I am so happy that a big company like Nespresso focuses on supporting us women and helping us to reach our fullest potential. (If you want to know more about how nespresso and how ecofriendly they actually are, check my post from 2017)
I have a lot of inspiring and independent women in my life surrounding me. I will create my own movie about my mother. My mum is my hero, my best friend and the strongest woman I know. Obviously we have been together since I was born and from that day on, we've been connected by the most intimate bond ever possible.

She is the greatest girl boss on this planet and made me the person I am today. I am so thankful to have her by my side and the be able to count on her. She always believes in me and lifts me up. The best thing about this woman is her positive attitude though. She makes the biggest difference with her gentle, generous and positive mindset. "Smile at the world and it will smile back." Is what she is saying to me all the time. She is so greatful and lives in the moment. That is how I aspire to be one day.

Who is a woman in your life, who is making a difference?

I can't wait to see your videos - feel fee to include me in your process of creation. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to drop me a mail or dm.
I wish you the best of luck.
Namaste,
Hannah
