Staying at Mövenpick Hotel in Stuttgart

My second time in Stuttgart and this time I stayed at the Mövenpick Airport Hotel. This hotel is located right at Stuttgart Aiport, but perfectly connected to the city center as well.

(Flughafenstrasse 50 | 70629  Stuttgart | Germany)

I arrived at 9.30am and was able to check into my room right away. My boyfriend and I stayed in a superior room, which was on the 3rd floor. The room was super bright, because of the gigantic window, that offers a great view of the aiport. (The windows are perfectly insulated though, so you won't hear a thing of the craziness nearby.) It was equipped with a huge comfy bed, a desk, a cozy leather armchair and a TV. We also had the minibar and a little coffee and tea station, as well as a little box with some useful welcome-gifts inside, such as some calming lavendar, an eye mask, ear plugs and yummy chocolate. Everything you need for a good night sleep.

Next to the bed was a window, that let you have a peek inside the bathroom. I loved that quirky little detail and being able to watch your boyfriend shower, while you relax in bed is honestly pretty amazing. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. It included a drier and little shower products and even a makeup mirror (Yup the ones, where you can see even the tiniest pimple.)

After my check-in I went down for breakfast. I was super hungry, so when I saw the delicious buffet that was waiting for me, I got super excited. There is something for literally anyone. Fruit, pastries, cheese and sausage, yoghurt, fish, eggs, potatoes and veggies, all kinds of drinks and of course the famous Mövenpick-jam. There was even a chef preparing fresh omelettes every morning. All of the Mövenpick-hotels focus on using fairtrade and organic products, as well as ingredients by local farmers, which made the whole experience even better.

When I came back to the room, I was surprised by some cake and a lovely welcome letter by the hotel. The little note made me so happy!

We were also shown around the whole hotel and it was amazing to get a little peak into the bigger apartments as well. I was especially blown away by the ginormous bathtub in the main suite - definitely something I would put into my dream house. The whole style of the hotel is kept quite modern and minimalistic, which i like. The furniture is a combination of classic pieces and modern touches. The hotel has 236 rooms in total, spread over 6 floors. There are quite a lot of meeting rooms and rooms to be used for business events or even ballroom dancing.

On the ground floor there is also a spa section. You are able to unwind in a classic and bio sauna, chill out in a roman steam bath, the relaxation zone, the outdoor area or the Kneipp pool. For additional pampering, massages are also available on request.

All in all we had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hotel and I can recommend it to anyone, who wants to unwind in a relaxed atmosphere in Stuttgart.
Namaste,
Hannah
