Last saturday Lea and I chose Cafe Frida for a sunny brunch in Kreuzberg. The little cafe i decorated with lots of love. The walls are painted in a teal color and lots of plants, comfy seats, pillows and flowers add to a bohemian vibe. Also I spotted a painting of Frida Kahlo on the wall, which I absolutely loved. Maybe that is where the cafe got it's name from.

After we had a yummy tea and some coffee, we chose the so called "Big brunch", which is basically a ton of amazing goodness for 2. Sounded perfect and it really was!

The whole amazingness starts of with a fruitbowl with yoghurt and berries. They will carve out some cantaloupe and fill it with sweet fruit and healthy seeds. This looks so cool! I have never seen this anywhere else before. Definitely a must-have for instagrammers, but also anyone else, who likes pretty and yummy food.

But that is not everything. After the fruit we received amazing sweet waffles, a huge basket with different kinds of bread, some avocado toast and a variety of different cheeses and hams.
It is so hard for me to pick a favorite, because literally everything tasted fresh and delicious. The bread was crunchy, the waffles were perfectly soft and the avocado paste melted in your mouth just right. PERFECT!

Also the staff is super relaxed and friendly. It was quite busy, but they didn't seem stressed and really took their time with every costumer. We felt super welcome and kind of like we were eating at a friend's house.

Definitely recommend Cafe Frida for all you brunch and breakfast lovers.
