Eating in Berlin: Benedict

What: Benedict breakfast
Where: Uhlandstraße 49, 10719 Berlin

Last Saturday, Till and I tried out the beautiful "All breakfast-Restaurant" Benedict in Berlin. Yup. You heard right. It only serves breakfast. All different kinds of breakfast from all over the world, but with the special Benedict-twist of course.
The team is planning to make Benedict into a 24h restaurant soon, so you can eat breakfast at any time you desire. Literally.

Okay before we get into the food, you know I have to talk about interior. Benedict has such an interesting and beautifully detailed interior design. It is a mix of eclectic pieces and vintage items, mixed with wild wallpapers and modern, urban influences. I looove how they pulled everything together. (Even the bathrooms are just stunning. :))

We came at a very busy time. (Weekend mornings are obviously packed and you can't reserve a table at this restaurant, so be prepared for a bit of waiting time)
But don't worry! The staff is insanely friendly and will serve you sparkling wine and cookies, while you can chill in the waiting area. Or you can just check out their little bakery section, where you can buy some sweet pastry or just enjoy a freshly brewed coffee. We tried the yummy Cappuccino and some homemade popcorn, which was really great as well.

After about 20min of waiting, we were seated at the bar. It's such a beautiful spot, because you can stalk all the bar tenders and you have a good view of the whole restaurant in general.
For drinks we went with some healthy carrot-juices and some not so healthy champange. Both was so fruity and just tasted amazing.

Then we shared a little starter called the "Babylon Tower". It's a tower of different veggies, topped of with an egg. It looked so cool and tasted just they way it was presented: YUM.

For our mains, Till went with the so called "Traditional german breakfast" and I had banana pancakes with an extra serving of fruit. OMG! It looked delicious and it was delicious. We loved, loved, loved the food. We were so stuffed afterwards, but we just couldn't stop to eat. :D

I can totally recommend Benedict to anyone, who loves breakfast. And I mean: WHO on earth doesn't like breakfast???
The food is great, the place feels cozy and the staff is just amazing. They will make sure you feel comfortable and welcome at all times and when i accidentally dropped my pineapple (clumsy me), they even brought me a new one, without me even asking them to. 10 of 10 points for that!

Namaste,
Hannah
